It doesn't get too cold here in Texas, but we do have the occasional snow days. For me, anything below 50 is cold though. Ha! While I love cranking up the heater, sometimes it gets a bit stuffy, and I'd rather just layer up in my leggings, pajamas and a pretty (faux!) fur throw! Other options are making your home cozy by using particular decor. You can start with a cozy throw like I mentioned, soft lighting, textured pillows and ottomans. Incorporating seasonal elements like wood and jewel tones (try emerald or gold!) are a great finishing touch as well. I'm especially fond of the lamps in the first picture! How do you make your home cozy for the colder months?

I love the color tones used. I have a faux fur blanket too from pottery barn, i used to work there (long time ago) but loved it and yes, bought everything I swear! I want to move to a rental house soon and re-decorate my living space, this is great inspiration. I agree, HATE being cold, its 40 something here in cali (SO ODD)! I want to be curled up with all my blankets like you suggested!
