HAPPY WEEKEND + FRIDAY FINDS

Hello loves!  Even though this week was a short week for me and I got plenty of rest on my extra day off, I was sooo extra sleepy everyday.  How'd that happen?  Have any of you been watching American Idol?  I usually watch every other year or so with this show, because it's been just so blah every season.  However this year, I think it may actually produce another big star like Kelly, Carrie, JHud, and Jordin.  I really think a girl may win this season, because in my opinion there are some powerhouse vocals there.  Also, I loved hearing y'alls responses to my post on Tuesday about "My Happiness Project".  Best wishes to you all on your journeys!  This weekend I'm going to keep it low key and not try to do ten million DIY projects in one day! Yesterday was the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon.  I've been keeping up with the event via my Instagram feed from some of the ladies I follow that attended the event.  Essence honored Oprah Winfrey, Alfre Woodard, Gabrielle Union, Mara Brock-Akil, Naomie Harris, and Quvenzhane' Wallis...take a look at pictures from the event.

Currently obcessed with these two Michael Kors handbags!  One is in my budget, and one is not.  Ha!  Nevertheless, I'll take this one (LOVE the emerald color!), and this one.  Thanks. ;)
