We're all transitioning our wardrobes right now so it makes sense to transition recipes in the kitchen, right? Now that Summer is over, I don't want to fall into the trap of eating EVERY Fall comfort food in site. I really want to keep up with eating fresh and I love my salads y'all! I can literally feel the affects on my body when I haven't been eating right. And lately I've been so busy with working two, yes two, jobs and going to school full time that I've been slacking on my eating habits. And let's not even mention my lack of running. Sad face. Anyway, since I'd become bored with my summer salad I decided to change it up a bit.
I swapped out my blueberries and strawberries with walnuts and dried cranberries which are more season appropriate ingredients anyway. I topped it off with my FAVORITE salad dressing which is Wishbone's Raspberry Hazelnut Vinargrette. This is seriously the best dressing I've ever had...even my grandma loves it now! I plan on eating this salad several times throughout the week...or at least until I become bored with it. ;)
