Often smoothies are loaded with sugar and other additives that make them comparable to a soft drink. I love making mine at home, and it's usually enough for me for breakfast with maybe some toast or something. Here's my simple recipe...
frozen chopped banana (just a few pieces)
one tablespoon of organic non-fat yogurt
one tablespoon of organic almond butter
a few strawberries
a dash of cinnamon
unsweetened almond milk
Mix in a blender until mixture has formed a nice and smooth consistency. Enjoy!
